- MOORE, Richard Ira Moore, 59, of Charleston, husband ofKristine Anne Kohler Moore, died Sunday, April 20, 2003 athis residence after a short Illness. Mr. Moore was born inHonolulu, HI on Saturday, June 5, 1943, a son of RobertJerry and Cecily Teshima Moore. When he was 20 years old,Mr. Moore moved from his home In Hawaii to Charleston. Hefaithfully and honorably served our country In the US AirForce during the Vietnam War. Mr. Moore retired after 38years as a Line Supervisor with SCEG. He was also a memberof St. Joseph Catholic Church in West Ashley. Mr. Moore Issurvived by his loving wife Kristine A. Moore ofCharleston, his children and their spouses, Katherine C.and Robert T. Parrish, Jr. of Klngsland, GA, Richard I.,Jr. and Aggle S. Moore of Charleston and Jennifer L. andSSGT. Christopher Boogle Cochran of Jacksonville, NC, thechildren's mother, Jimie K. McBride, the children'sgrandmother, Katherine H, Flannery, a stepson, Evan KyleGuthrie, 5 grandchildren, Jessica B Parrish, Krystal L,Parrish, Robert T. Parrish, III, Christen N. Cochran andNoah M. Cochran, a brother, Robert 3. Moore, Jr. and 2sisters, Carol Warden and Susanna Katsutani. The relativesand friends of Mr. Richard 1. Moore are invited to attendhis Mass of Christian Burial, 11 AM Wednesday, April 23,2003 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 1695 Raoul WallenburgAve, Friends are Invited to call Tuesday evening 6 until 8PM at the James A. McAlister Funeral Home, 1620 SavannahHwy. A Vigil Service will be held Tuesday evening at 7:30PM here at the funeral home. A memorial service will beheld at a later date In Hawaii.
