Wall was hit by a cart several days before. Caroline Johannes Haas kept this postcard although she had no idea who it was in the picture. When talking with Inge Eckert Jones on the phone, Susan Haas asked if they had any pictures of the family. She told me that each of the relatives in Germany had a copy of a picture of the Wm. and Johannetta Johannes Eckert Family that an aunt had made. This was her father's family.After she discribed it, I realized that was the picture on the postcard I had. She told me the names of everyone in the picture and ended with "and the dogs name was Rex."
