- 1 years. Mr. Day was born in Waldoboro on July 17, 1902, the son of the late Herbert A. and Carrie Black Day, and had been a lifelong resident of this town. For a number of years, along with his work in the button factory, he maintained a shop o n Main Street dealing in radios and radio repair service. Mr. Day was a member of the Progressive Grange at Winslow's Mills for 22 years. His immediate family are his son, Donald, a brother, Garland, a sister, Mrs. Beulah E. Ralph and a niece an d nephew. Services will be held 2:00 p.m. on Friday from the First Baptist Church in Waldoboro, with the Rev. Aaron B. Kelley officiating. Pallbearers will be Clifford Porter, Leon Benner, Prescott Duswald, Raymond Jackson, Josiah Jameson and Rola nd Creamer. Funeral Arrangements are in charge of James A.
