- CLYDE A. WINCHENBACH
Clyde A. Winchenbach 69 died Saturday morning at the Maine Medical Center, Portland. He was a lifelong resident of Waldoboro. He was born June 1, 1891, son of Clifford and Mary Eugley Winchenbach. A carpenter, he had worked on teh construction of the Waldo Theater, vocaline plant and the Meehahga Grange Hall. He was a veteran of World War I and was a member of King Solomon's Lodeg, AE & AM. Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Freeland Vannah; two brothers Dewey and Astor, all of Waldoboro, nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Waltz Funeral Home. The Rev. James Purington of the First Baptist Church officiated and interment was in Dutch Neck Cemetery.
