Dorothy Ruth Marciel Cler, 83, of Hilo, died April 19 at Life Care Center of Hilo. Born Sept. 11, 1926, in Hilo, she was a baker for Damien High School.
Private services were held.
She is survived by sons, Joert Marciel, of Hilo, Clement Marciel, of Arlington, Texas, Robert Marciel, of Hilo, Douglas Marciel, of Pahoa; daughters, Susan Oliva, of Waikoloa, Claudine English, of Honolulu; brothers, Ernest Miller, of Kaneohe, Oahu, Jason Miller, of Lyons, Texas; sister, Louise Galang, of Honolulu; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
