Johannes "Hans" Botha entered eternity on February 10, 2011, in Sacramento. Hans was born on July 4, 1927 in Port Elizabeth, South Africa, the only son of Marthinus and Isabelle Botha. He had a long and illustrious dual career as both an educator and pastor. Hans received his undergraduate and graduate degrees from Wheaton College, and over his lifetime worked and lived on 3 continents and in 5 countries. He finally retired at the spry age of 81. Hans will be missed by his loving wife of 54 years, Marian(Buyse), children, BettyAnn, Derek, Leilani, Erika, their spouses, and six grandchildren. Graveside services at Roseville Cemetery, February 17 at 11am, followed by a celebration of his life at 1:00pm at Arcade Creek Manor, Auburn Blvd, Citrus Heights
