- Ronald “Ronnie” James Andrade, 75, of Hilo, died on Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at home. He was born on December 13, 1938 in Kealakekua, Hawaii. He was a retired highways maintenance supervisor for the State Department of Transportation and a driver / mechanic for Andrade Service, Inc. in Honokaa. He was also a bulldozer operator / mechanic for Ishimaru in Naalehu, Andrade-Kau Contracting in Naalehu and Kawaihae Ranch in Naalehu. He was a member of Naalehu Sacred Heart Catholic Church and Pahala Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Visitation will be held from 8 to 9:30 a.m. on Saturday (May 17, 2014) at Pahala Holy Rosary Catholic Church; Funeral Mass at 10 a.m.; burial to follow at Pahala Catholic Cemetery. Casual attire. Survived by, wife, Kapuaokalani G.
