- Ann A. Danly, 82, of Charlevoix, MI and Punta Gorda, FL, and formerly of Hinsdale, IL, died Saturday, Dec. 30, 2006, at her home in Charlevoix. She was born Sept. 22, 1924, in Chicago, the daughter of Thomas and Margret, nee Kniesley, Abbott. She graduated from high school in Hinsdale, and junior college in North Carolina. On April 21, 1950, she married Bruce H. Danly in Hinsdale. They made their home in Hinsdale and summered in Michigan. They later moved from Hinsdale to Punta Gorda, FL. Ann was a very giving and generous person who loved her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband on May 22, 1994. Ann is survived by her loving children, Patricia Danly and her husband, William Hall of Trapper Creek, AK, Nancy Danly of Charlevoix, MI, Mary Danly of Laurel, MT, Bruce and his wife, Jill Danly of Lake Bluff, IL, and David A. Danly of Charlevoix, MI; grandchildren, Matthew and his wife, Lisa Robinson, Ryan Fields, Clay and Hana Danly; and loyal friend, Brandy. Visitation 5 to 7 p.m., Friday Jan. 5 at the Gibbons Elliston Funeral Home, First and Grant Street Hinsdale. Graveside service Saturday Jan. 6 11 a.m. at Bronswood Cemetery, 3805 Madison Ave., Oak Brook, IL. Family and friends will meet at cemetery. Luncheon at the Hinsdale Golf Club following the service.
