- RAYMOND HAROLD BRANDLY, 76, of Hamilton, died Friday, Dec. 5, at Mercy Hospital. Born Feb. 19, 1921, in Richmond, Ind., he was the son of the late Henry and Elsie D. (Burkhardt) Brandly. He was a graduate of Dixon High School. Mr. Brandly was self-employed in real estate, and had been a pilot in the Army Air Corps during World War II. He was a member of Minerva Lodge #98, F&AM, Miamisburg; Scottish Rite, Valley of Dayton; Antioch Temple, Dayton; past patron of Jacob Eby Chapter #571, OES, West Carrollton; and president of the National WACO Club for 30 years.
Survivors include two daughters and son-in-law, Susanna Lynn Brandly of Camden, Marja Brandly (Michael) Irwin of Ventura, Calif.; one sister, Marie B. Flora of Eaton; one brother, Earl Brandly of Eaton; nieces, nephews and cousins; and his former wife, Alice (Campbell) Brandly of Dayton. He was preceded in death by a nephew, Kent Brandly.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 11, at Mound Hill Union Cemetery, Eaton.
