  	MONROE - Lillian Rose Haberman, named after the beautiful flowers her mother Barbara loved, blossomed for 98 years before she faded away on Saturday, July 19, 2008. Her father, Rudolph Aebly, was a brewer way back when the brewery was Leuenberger and Blumer. Lillian and her sister, Frieda Marty, loved to dance at Turner Hall where Lil cut quite a rug back in the 1920's. She met Ralph Haberman and they were married on Valentines Day in 1931, a union that lasted 74 years before Ralph died on Feb. 25, 2005. Lil worked hard alongside her husband always with love, wisdom, and dedication to whatever they endeavored. In 1940 they welcomed a girl, their only child, Penelope (Penny), who they raised with much love. Lil's beautiful soul would shine through her eyes and light up the day for all those around. Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, July 23, 2008, at Greenwood Cemetery in Monroe with Monsignor Thomas Campion officiating. There will be no visitation. Memorials may be given in Lillian's name to the Apostolate to the Handicapped or the Green County Humane Society Building Fund. The NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, Monroe, is assisting the family.
