Constance, known affectionately as Connie, was born in Appleton on Nov. 5, 1936, the youngest of five children, to the late Ivan and Irene Johnson Mink. As a child, she attended Appleton and Union schools and assisted on the family farm. Connie was later employed at GTE Sylvania in Waldoboro for 17 years and resided in Friendship throughout her adult life. Connie is survived by two sons, Ronald Yattaw of Friendship, and Keith Yattaw and wife Michelle of Orlando, Fla.; two grandchildren, Eric Yattaw of Waldoboro, and Matthew Yattaw of Cushing; two brothers and their wives, Keith and Grace Mink of Appleton, and Lyndon and Marion Mink of Royal Palm Beach, Fla.; and sister, Lyndall Wade of Portland. She is further survived by cousins, nieces, nephews and friends who have all been very thoughtful and supportive during her illness. Graveside ceremony 1 p.m., Thurs., June 15 at the Village Cemetery behind the Friendship Methodist Church, followed by a celebration of her life at the Mink home in Friendship. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made to The Friendship Ambulance Auxiliary Foundation, P.O. Box 40, Friendship, ME 04547. Als Kind besuchte sie die Schulen in Appleton und Union und half auf dem Familienbauernhof. Connie arbeitete später 17 Jahre lang bei GTE Sylvania in Waldoboro und lebte ihr ganzes Erwachsenenleben in Friendship. Connie hinterlässt zwei Söhne: Ronald Yattaw aus Friendship und Keith Yattaw und seine Frau Michelle aus Orlando, Florida. zwei Enkelkinder, Eric Yattaw aus Waldoboro und Matthew Yattaw aus Cushing; zwei Brüder und ihre Ehefrauen, Keith und Grace Mink aus Appleton sowie Lyndon und Marion Mink aus Royal Palm Beach, Florida; und ihre Schwester Lyndall Wade aus Portland. Sie hinterlässt außerdem Cousins, Nichten, Neffen und Freunde, die ihr während ihrer Krankheit stets beigestanden und sie unterstützt haben. Die Trauerfeier findet am Donnerstag, den 15. Juni, um 13:00 Uhr auf dem Village Cemetery hinter der Methodistenkirche von Friendship statt. Anschließend wird ihr Leben im Haus der Minks in Friendship gefeiert.
