- Shirley J. Lotz, 73, passed away suddenly Sunday, Oct. 14, 2007, at a local hospital.
Funeral: 1:30 p.m. Thursday in Greenwood Chapel. Interment: Greenwood Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Greenwood Funeral Home.
Memorials: May be made to Alzheimer's Association, in memory of Shirley's sister.
Shirley was born Sept. 27, 1934, in Median, Ohio, to Roger and Nellie Johnson, both deceased. She grew up in Akron, Ohio, and graduated from Buchtel High School and attended Miami, Ohio, University for two years.
Shirley married Richard C. Lotz on July 17, 1954, and gave birth to three children. The family moved to the Fort Worth area in 1964. She worked several jobs, primarily for Pier 1 Imports and the Bombay Company in accounts payable. She retired several years ago.
Shirley enjoyed reading novels and watching television.
Survivors: Husband, Richard C. Lotz; daughter, Kim A. Kamin and husband, David, of Richland Hills; their children, Matthew D. Kamin and Taylor R. Kamin; and sons, Steven D. Lotz of Benbrook and Micheal D. Lotz of Sioux Falls, S.D.
