LifeSketch Adin B. Hoch, a lifelong citizen of this place passed away at home on Aug. 12 at the age of 69 after a long period of health. Mr. Hoch was the son of Ambrose and Catherine Hoch and is survived by his wife, who was Lizzie Davis, and a son Floyd and brother Elmer. In his earlier years he was a member of progressive grange and served as its master. Also a member of sons of Veterans. Musically inclined he was also a member of Jefferson Band and possessed a fine singing voice. He was a mill worker but his later years were devoted to his farm, finding his pleasure in fishing and hunting. Mr. Hoch was a kind friend and good neighbor, liked and respected by all and will be greatly missed by those who knew him. Lincoln County News: August 26th, 1943 FSID L4H9-955
