Litchfield- Edna M. "Marie" Guild, 64, of Richmond Road died Wednesday, July 22, 2009 at a Brunswick hospital. She was born in Rockland on December 7, 1944, a daughter of Clyde L. and Phyllis I. (Moody) Havener. She attended schools in Union. She was married to Charles H. Guild Jr. for 32 years. She was employed at Bath Iron Works in the Maintenance Department for 18 years. She enjoyed puzzles, watching soap operas, wrestling, traveling and loved being with her family. She is survived by her longtime companion, Hank Pester of Litchfield, one son, Raymond E. Guild and his wife Sara J. of Bath, one daughter, Julie I. Guild and her companion Rick Rodriguez of Bath, two brothers, Lewis Havener and his wife Vickie and Joseph Havener and his wife Donna all of Brunswick, two sisters, Judith Robinson and her husband Raymond of Rockland and Jeanie Moody of Friendship, three grandchildren, Thomas Guild, Erica Guild and Jazmine Rodriguez and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by one brother, Larry Havener. Visiting hours will be held from 6 to 8 PM on Sunday at Daigle Funeral Home, 819 High Street, Bath. A funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Monday at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery in Bath. A gathering of family and friends will follow at the American Legion on Congress Avenue in Bath. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association, 12 State Street, Augusta, 04330. Sie hinterlässt ihren langjährigen Lebensgefährten Hank Pester aus Litchfield, einen Sohn, Raymond E. Guild, und dessen Frau Sara J. aus Bath, eine Tochter, Julie I. Guild, und deren Lebensgefährten Rick Rodriguez aus Bath, zwei Brüder, Lewis Havener (mit Frau Vickie) und Joseph Havener (mit Frau Donna), beide aus Brunswick, zwei Schwestern, Judith Robinson (mit Ehemann Raymond) aus Rockland und Jeanie Moody aus Friendship, drei Enkelkinder – Thomas Guild, Erica Guild und Jazmine Rodriguez – sowie zahlreiche Nichten und Neffen.
Ein Bruder, Larry Havener, verstarb bereits vor ihr.
Besuchszeiten sind am Sonntag von 18:00 bis 20:00 Uhr im Bestattungsinstitut Daigle Funeral Home, 819 High Street, Bath. Die Trauerfeier findet am Montag um 11:00 Uhr im Bestattungsinstitut statt. Anschließend erfolgt die Beisetzung auf dem Oak Grove Cemetery in Bath. Danach treffen sich Familie und Freunde im American Legion an der Congress Avenue in Bath.
