Lawrence Gross Dies Lawrence Gross, of 359 Spring street, died at his home Monday after a brief illness. Funeral arrangements are awaiting the arrival of a nephew from Maine. There are no members of his family in this city. The body rests at the O\'Neill Funeral Home. Mr. Gross was a fisherman and had lived in this city for a number of years. His wife died some years ago. Lawrence Gross Funeral Services were held Wednesday afternoon at the O\'Neil Funeral Home for Lawrence Gross of 359 Spring street, a fisherman by the Rev. Roy W. Magun, superintendent of the Seamen\'s Church Institute. The body has been placed temporarily in the receiving vault in the Island Cemetery until it is sent to his former home in Maine.
