LOWELL—Deborah Lee "Debbie" (Calhoun) Fortin, 49, wohnhaft in Centralville, verstarb am Samstag, den 4. August 2012, im Lowell General Hospital nach einem kurzen Kampf gegen Krebs. Sie war die liebevolle Ehefrau von Arthur Fortin, mit dem sie 24 Jahre verheiratet war.
Debbie wurde am 19. Oktober 1962 in Lowell geboren, Tochter von Leo Calhoun (ehemaliger Feuerwehrdienst von Lowell) und Margaret (Gendreau) Ahearn, die beide sie überleben.
Sie absolvierte die Sacred Heart Grammar School und die Greater Lowell Regional Vocational High School. Sie war Gemeindemitglied der ehemaligen Sacred Heart Church. Zwanzig Jahre
lang war Debbie Schulbusfahrerin im North Reading School District. Debbie las gerne, legte Puzzles und häkelte. Sie liebte es, Zeit mit ihren vier Enkeln zu verbringen.

LOWELL—Deborah Lee “Debbie” (Calhoun) Fortin, 49, a resident of Centralville, passed away on Saturday, August 4, 2012 at Lowell General Hospital, following a brief battle with cancer. She was the loving wife of Arthur Fortin, to whom she had been married for 24 years.
Debbie was born in Lowell on October 19, 1962, a daughter of Leo Calhoun (Retired Lowell Fire Dept.) and Margaret (Gendreau) Ahearn who both survive her.
She was a graduate of the Sacred Heart Grammar School and the Greater Lowell Regional Vocational High School. She was a parishioner of the former Sacred Heart Church.
For twenty years Debbie was a school bus driver in the North Reading School District. Debbie enjoyed reading, puzzles, and crocheting. She loved spending time with her four grandchildren.
Surviving Debbie in addition to her parents and husband are her four children, Nichole M. (Calhoun) Nowell and her husband Eric of Tennessee, Mark Fortin and his fiancé Nicole Furtado of Exeter, NH, Courtney Fortin and her boyfriend Joey Parington of Dracut, and Vanessa Fortin and her fiancé David Furtado of Lee, NH; four grandchildren, Makayla Fortin, Makenzie Fortin, Peyton Furtado, and Elijah Nowell; a sister, Jean Calhoun of Lowell; four brothers, Leo Calhoun of Lowell, Jimmy Ahearn and his wife Danielle of Methuen, Brian Ahearn and his wife Kim of Nashua, NH, and Earl Burns of Lowell; a sister-in-law, Joanne Calhoun of Lowell, and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

FORTIN—In Lowell, August 4, 2012 at Lowell General Hospital, Deborah Lee “Debbie” (Calhoun) Fortin, 49, a Centralville resident.
Family and friends may call at the FAY McCABE FUNERAL HOME, 105 MOORE STREET, LOWELL on THURSDAY from 4 until 8 PM, with her Funeral Service taking place at 7:30 P.M. in the Funeral Home. Debbie’s Committal Prayers and graveside burial service will take place on FRIDAY MORNING at 9 A.M. in the WESTLAWN CEMETERY.
