She was born December 12, 1915 in Wylie, Collin County, Texas the daughter of the late James and Osa Powell McCauley. She was married to Joe McIntire who preceded her in death in April of 1970. She later married William K. Peake on March 12, 1977 in Plano. She worked in the records department for Dallas County for many years. She had been a resident of Brownwood since 2002 moving from Frisco. She was a memeber of the Central Christian Church of Frisco, Texas. She was preceded in death by her husbands, a son Joe Bob McIntire, a grandson, James McIntire, and a sister, Pearla Carpenter. FSID LY8K-81V
