- , South Waldoboro, about 2:45 p.m. when the accident occurred Authorities said the throttle on the snow vehicle stuck wide open causing it to go out of control. Born Jan 16, 1933, the son of Stanley L. and Ella W. Wallace, he was a veteran of th e Korean War, and a member of King Solomon's Lodge of Masons, Waldoboro, and the Charles C. Lilly Post, American Legion, Waldoboro. he is survived by his parents, Waldoboro, one son, Leroy S. Wallace, Jr. Friendship, three daughters, Mrs. Terry (S andra) Melanson, Mrs. Vincent (Deborah) Simmons, both South Waldoboro and Kimberly Wallace, Friendship, one brother, Bernard C. Wallace, South Waldoboro, one sister, Mrs. Arlene Cook, South Waldoboro and two grandchildren. Funeral services took pl ace Mon. afternoon at the Carpenter Funeral Home, Rockland, with the Rev. Charles R. Monteith officiating. Burial will be at South Waldoboro Cemetery in the Spring. Lincoln County News: January 1st, 1976.
