Surviving are his wife, Myrtle Wincapaw Benner of South Waldoboro; two daughters, Mrs. Ralph (Eleanor) Copeland and Mrs. Carl (Glenys) Simmons, both of Friendship, a brother Harold of Fri endship, a sister Mrs. Thomas (Ethel) Delano of Friendship, four grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Hall Funeral Home, Waldoboro, the Rev. Charles D. Ki nney officiating. Interment in Sweetland Cemetery, South Waldoboro.
