Obituary John H. Winchenbach, 68, lifelong resident of Friendship died suddenly on May 28th at the Knox General Hospital in Rockland. He was born on July 26, 1885, the son of Leavitt and Laura Collamore Winchenbach. He was a boat builder by trade , and had as a hobby light harness racing horses Mr. Winchenbach leaves three sisters, Mrs. Ethel Hilton and Mrs. Myrtle Benner of Waldoboro and Mrs. Nellie Orff of Friendship, and some nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services were held at th e Waltz Funeral Home on Sunday at 2:00 p.m., with the Rev. Kathleen Weed officiating. Internment was in Sweetland Cemetery, Waldoboro
