SIMMONS, Mrs. Genie’ L., of Friendship, wife of Chamberlin Simmons died Wednesday March 24 at the age of 59 years. She is survived by her husband and one son, Carleton Simmons of Friendship, three sisters, Mrs. Ethel Hilton and Mrs. Mertie Benne r of Waldoboro, Mrs. Nellie Wallace of Friendship and one brother, John Winchenbach of Lawry. Also several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Simmons was a member of the Pythian Sister Lodge of Friendship. Funeral services were held Sunday at 1:30 P. M., fr om the Friendship Baptist Church with the Rev. Henry Van Deman officiating assisted by Rev. Smith. Interment was in the Village cemetery.
