Born in Harrington, July 1, 1934, she was the daughter of Harry G. and Margaret L. Huntley Hartford. During the years of World War II, she lived with her family in South Portland where she attended local schools. They later moved to Warren, where she continued her education. On January 1, 1952, she married Philip M. Pease in Warren. Mrs. Pease enjoyed celebrating her 50th anniversary with her husband this past January. The first nine years of their marriage, the couple lived in Portland where Mrs. Pease worked as a Nurses Aid at Maine Medical Center. For the following 3 years, they lived in California where she was employed as an operator with the Pacific Telephone Company. From California the, Pease\' moved to West Rockport, where they resided 13 years before moving to Port St. Lucie, Florida in 1980. While residing in Florida, Mrs. Pease completed training as a Licensed Practical Nurse. Returning to Maine 3 years later, they lived in St. George a brief time before building their home here, where they have lived the past 15 years. Mrs. Pease worked 17 years with ASK Home Health Care, primarily at their Cushing Homestead facility. Throughout their married life, Mrs. Pease has been an active participant in her husband\'s business, Phil Pease for Painting, as bookkeeper. Pre-deceased by two sons, Dana Mark in 1958, David in 2000 and a sister Sarah Butler in 1996, Mrs. Pease is survived by her husband of Union; her son Bruce K. and his wife Tiffany of Vancouver, Washington; her daughter Katrina Oakes and her husband Timothy of Appleton; a sister Mildred H. Grindle and her husband Kenneth Orne of Union; five grandchildren, Daniel, Steven, Jeffrey, Devon, Paige as well as several nieces and nephews. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Warren.
