He was born April 20, 1957 in Rockland, the son of Harold and Carolyn Carver Winchenbach, Jr. Harold worked as an independent carpenter and for a number of years, he was the lead singer for the gospel band at the Waldoboro Word of Life Church. Harold was multi-talented, writing many gospel songs and poetry. He had a great love for music and loved to spend time with his friends. Harold had a great love for the outdoors, especially spending time fishing out on the lake. He always had time to help someone in need. He was a member of the Word of Life Church in Waldoboro. Harold was predeceased by his father, Harold E. Winchenbach, Jr., and the mother of his children, Annette E. Kenney. Survivors include his mother, Carolyn Veara of Waldoboro; daughters, Jessica Kenney of North Carolina, and Kara Kenney of Belfast; sisters, Sandra Pettee and husband Robert of St. George, and Bonita Willis and husband Jack of Northport; aunt, Betty Williams and husband George of Maine; niece, Angela Hastings of Camden; nephews, Matthew Hastings of Florida, and Josh Noyes and wife Kim of Colorado Springs, Col.; great-niece, Autumn Pettee of Camden; and great-nephews, Tyler Pettee of Camden, and Matthew Hastings of Phoenix, Ariz. Celebration of Harold\'s life was held Nov. 25 at the Word of Life Church in Waldoboro; Pastor Tom Rawley officiated. Arrangements are entrusted to Hall Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 949 Main St., Waldoboro. Lincoln County News: November 30th, 2006.
