Mr. Ranquist was born May 17, 1945, in Portland, Maine to the late Elbert M. Ranquist and the late Mary Evelyn Mutch Ranquist. Mrs. Ranquist was born May 3, 1953, in Blue Ridge, Georgia to the late Amos Ferguson and the late Iliene Nichols Ferguson. Mr. Ranquist was prominent in AA for 20 years as well as the American Legion, and was a veteran of the Vietnam War, serving in the U.S. Navy. He was very artistic and loved to draw. He also enjoyed fishing and loved his devoted dogs. Diana was a U.S. Navy veteran and a published author in addition to contributing work for the local paper. She was also a committed supporter of the Polk County Library. Her hobbies included crafting and gardening.
