- CLARENCE WOODBURY SR.
Clarence W. Woodbury Sr., 71, Waldoboro retired employee of the Bath Iron Works, died Wednesday, Jan. 31 at a Rockland hospital. He was born in Bremen, May 1, 1901, the son of Edward and Beulah Creamer Wood. He was a 32nd degree mason, a 50-year member of King Solomon's Lodge A.F. and A.M. of Waldoboro and a 50-year member of the Grand Lodge of Maine. he was a member of Kora Temple, Lewiston, and Consistory of Portland. He formerly was a member of a grain store in Waldoboro and Winslow's Mills for many years and he also worked at a Waldoboro Garage. Surviving is a son, Clarence W. Woodbury Jr. of Kezar Falls. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Friday from the Simmons Funeral Home, Warren. Spring interment will be in Waldoboro cemetery.
