MRS. LUCY W. WOODBURY
Mrs. Lucy W. Woodbury, 63, wife of Clarence W. Woodbury, Sr., of Waldoboro, died suddenly at a Rockland hospital late last Thursday evening. She was born in Waldoboro, May 19, 1899, the daughter of Otto V. and Nellie Benner Hassner. She was a lifelong resident of Waldoboro, and was a member of the Waldoboro Women's Club. She was active in the Lincoln County Democratic Club and attended the Village Methodist Church. Surviving besides her husband, are a son, Clarence E. Woodbury, Jr., of Kezar Falls, three nieces, Mrs. Virginia Winchenbach of Waldoboro, Mrs. Barbara Gogardis of New Britain, Conn., and Mrs. Frances Clarke of Rockland. Funeral services were held Sunday at 2 p.m. from the Flanders Funeral Home, Waldoboro with Rev. David Glusker officiating. Interment was in the Rural Cemetery.

She was born here May 19, 1899, daughter of Otto and Nettie Benner Hassner. Mrs. Woodbury was a member of the Waldoboro Women's Club and the Lincoln County Democratic Club. She attended the Waldoboro Village Church. Besides her husband, Clarence E. Woodbury Sr., she is survived by a son, Clarence E. Jr., of Kezar Falls and three nieces. Interment will be in Rural Cemetery in the spring.
