ROCKLAND - Llynne Anne Haskins, 46, died unexpectedly Thursday, January 20, 2005 from injuries sustained in an auto accident on Old County Road.
Born in Rockland, May 15, 1958, she was the daughter of Merrill R. and Christine Mank Haskins. She was educated in local schools.
Llynne worked as a Certified Nurses Assistant at Knox Center for Long Term Care and the former Camden Health Care Center. More recently she served as a private duty care provider.
She enjoyed gardening, fishing, smelting, music and was pleased recently to donate her hair to Locks For Love. Lynne considered her pets and fish as family and was heartbroken to lose her companion of 11 years, a Dutch Rottweiler, Nikia, this past fall. This past Christmas, she was thrilled to receive as a gift from her son Justin, a Pug puppy, she named Boo. She loved her Terrier, Cogo and her cats, Ebony who perished in the accident with her, Smokey, Sonny and Tigger.
Devoted to her family, she loved family get togethers and particularly enjoyed spending time with her sisters. They stated she loved people, was fun to be with and was full of life.
Lynne had taken several other people under her wing over the years who were considered her "Other Children".
She continued a close friendship with the father of her children, Kerry Lee Dennison of New Hampshire, and her former sister and brothers-in-law, Alfred Dennison, Jr. of East Livermore, Victor Dennison of Rockland, William Dennison of South Thomaston and Gloria Nelson of Union. Pre-deceased by her father and grandparents, Alton J. and Myrtle Mank and Archford V. and Bertha Haskins, Llynne is survived by her parents Christine and Bruce Gamage, Sr. of Rockland and Florida; two sons, Justin Dennison and his companion Tiffany Tyler and her children Jordan, Jacob, Nicholas, Natasha, of Rockland, Stanley Dennison of Matinicus; five brothers, Allan Haskins and his companion Janice Goodnow of Union, Duane Makie and his companion Linda Winchenbach, James Makie and his companion Denise Senay all of Warren, Bruce Gamage, Jr. and his wife Becky of Rockland, Joel Fogg of Rockland; four sisters, Roxanne Seader and her husband Ray of Palm Beach Gardens, FL, Rhonda Collins and her husband Harry of Palm City, FL, Nancy Beverage and her husband Edward, Ann Orne all of North Haven, as well as several aunts, uncles, great aunts, great uncle, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visiting hours will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Friday, January 28th at Burpee, Carpenter & Hutchins Funeral Home, 110 Limerock Street, Rockland, where a memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, January 29, 2005. The Reverend Wayne Sawyer will officiate.
