John KINDIG, 80, retired building contractor of Noblesville, died at 1:45 a.m. Thursday in the St. Joseph Hospital, Logansport.
He was born Feb. 8, 1874, in Miami county, the son of William and Catherine (SWARTZLANDER) KINDIG. He was a member of the Methodist church and the Masonic Lodge, No. 57 F. and A. M., of Noblesville.
Surviving are two sisters: Mrs. Cora DEEDS, Rochester; Mrs. Lavina CUNNINGHAM, Peru; two brothers, Milton [KINDIG], Bunker Hill and W. E. KINDIG, Peru; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren, and two stepdaughters, Mrs. Josephine TOZIER, Noblesville, and Mrs. Ted TINKER, New York City.
Final rites will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Kroeger funeral home, Logansport. Burial will be in the Perrysburg Cemetery.
