Ella Anderson
July 2, 1926 – March 18, 2006
Surrounded by her loving sons and daughters-in-law, Ella passed away at her home in Folsom on March 18, 2006 at the age of 79.During her memorable life, Ella played the piano beautifully, taught dance to civilians and returning soldiers from World War II, was district representative for 10 years to Assemblyman George Milias and worked for the State of California until her retirement in 1989.Preceded in death by Allan, her husband of 49 years, Ella is survived by sons James, Robert (Jaxine) and Don (Heidi) and her loving grandchildren Carl and Stacey. Beloved sister of Dolores Rozynski and her late brother, Al. Dear friend of Donna Cobo and neighbors, Ted, Jennifer, McKinley and Maddie.Ella’s passion was travel, especially on cruise ships. She made many memorable trips to Europe and Asia. Her last cruise was to Mexico in January with her son Jim.She was a remarkable, loving woman, mother and friend and we’ll miss her presence in our lives.A private family memorial will be held in Tahoe at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please support your local Cancer Society and Hospice.
