Mrs. Frances E. Pottle, 71, died Monday at a Waldoboro nursing home. She was the widow of William O. Pottle. She was born at Waldoboro Sept. 4, 1893, daughter of Roscoe and Cora Genthner Winchenbach. Mrs. Pottle was a member of the Friendship Methodist Church. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Eleanor Winchenbach of Friendship; three brothers, Roscoe Winchenbach of Quincy, Mass., Thomas Winchenbach of Waldoboro and Frank Winchenbaugh of Friendship; one sister, Mrs. Julie Wotton of Friendship; two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Thursday at 77 Main St., Waldoboro, the Rev. Forrest F. Fowle officiating. Interment will be in the Hall receiving vault, Waldoboro.
