  	Walter Strojny, 91, of Sun City West, Arizona, passed away at his home on Friday, June 30, 2004. He was born July 21, 1912 in Poland.He was a veteran of the Polish Air Force. In 1942 he was shot down over Germany, captured and placed in a prison camp until the end of the war. He came to the United States and became a U.S. Citizen in 1959. In 1954 he married Martha Landgraf in Waukegan, Illinois who preceded him in death in 1997. He worked for the Schwinn Bicycle Company (Chicago, Illinois) until retirement.He is survived by a son, Walt.Graveside services, will be held on Wednesday, July 21, 2004 at 9:00 A.M. at Sunland Memorial Park, 15826 Del Webb Boulevard, Sun City, Arizona.Donations can be made to: Hospice of the Valley, 1510 E. Flower Street, Phoenix, Arizona 85014-5656.
