- ROGER W. CARLOW JR.
LINCOLN - Today, God took our son after a very hard illness. Roger William Carlow Jr., 43, died July 4, 2004, at his home. He was born April 17, 1961, in Lincoln, the son of Barbara (Clausson) and Roger W. Carlow Sr. For many years, Roger worked as a carpenter for Local Union No. 1996. He retired from work after becoming ill with cancer. He fought a valiant battle, but God must have needed him sooner than we wanted to let him go. We will miss you, Rog, and think of you often. In addition to his parents, Roger is survived by his pride and joy, a daughter, Meaghan Ellen Carlow; and a much loved son, Heath DeLaite; two children whom he loved dearly, Nick and Nastassja Francis; two sisters, Debbie Martin of Ohio and Joannie Greene of Florida; a brother, David Carlow of Mattawamkeag. Rog will be greatly missed by the special friends who loved him, Blaine Weatherbee, Jason Morrison, Jeannie Grant, and Lisa (Goding) and Jim Anderson. Others important to him from the animal kingdom were his lab, Casey; and his cat, Monkey Boy. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at the Clay Funeral Home, 7 Lee Road, Lincoln. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to a scholarship fund for the benefit of his children. Donations may be left at the funeral home. For an online register book, please visit www.clayfuneralhome.com. God bless and keep you until we meet again. Rest easy, son.
