| 69 | ' Dr. Richard 'Dick' L. Brehm, 68, of the village of Lake Hallie, passed away peacefully on August 10, 2007, at his home with his wife, Mary Ellen, by his side. Richard was born September 15, 1938, in Beloit, Wis., to Carl and Hazel (Beck) Brehm Sr. Following graduation from Beloit Memorial High School, he received his training as a machinist in Waynesboro, Pa., and Dunwoody Institute in Minneapolis. Dr. Brehm served in the Army, where he excelled as an operating room technician. Following his military service, he attended the University of Wisconsin at Whitewater, and graduated from Marquette University School of Dentistry in Milwaukee in 1973. That same year he began his dental practice in Chippewa Falls. Richard married Mary Ellen (Busjahn) on March 3, 1984, at Central Lutheran Church in Chippewa Falls. Dr. Brehm loved practicing dentistry, and did so for as long as he was able. During his lifetime he was an avid fisherman and a marksman trapshooter. Dr. Brehm is survived by his wife, Mary Ellen; mother, Hazel; children, Christy (Robert) Pederson, Kathleen (Gregory) Moots, Todd Brehm; brother, Carl (Eileen) Brehm Jr.; sister, Beverly (Duane) Peterson; grandchildren, Martha and Samantha Pederson, Krista and Gavin Moots; and many other loving relatives and friends. Dr. Brehm will be remembered for his sense of humor and gift for listening. He always took time to listen to patients and friends expressing their needs and offered assistance in his own special way. Having completed his mission on earth, he's now 'sharin' fish stories' with his Lord. A family celebration of life is planned at a later time. The family requests that no flowers or plants be sent. Memorials given will be distributed by the family to Dr. Brehm's favorite charities. | BREHM, Dr Richard Lee (I43613)
