- Phyllis C. Sidelinger, 65, Gray, died at the Maine Medical Center, Portland, Tuesday, June 20 after a long illness. She was formerly of Southington, Conn., where she had resided for five years. She married Gordon L. Sidelinger, Dec. 27, 1944. Born in Waldoboro Aug. 11, 1923, she was the daughter of William G. and Lillian Genthner Mank. She was a graduate of the class of 1940, Waldoboro High School, a member of the Grace United Methodist Church, Southington, a member and Star Point of Frederica Chapter 110 Order of the Eastern Star, Plainview, Conn. Survivors include her husband, Gordon Sidelinger of Gray; her mother Lillian Manks John of Coopers Mills; a son Kevin P. Sidelinger of Halibut Cove, Alaska; two daughters, Mrs. Edward (Candice) Asklar, and Mrs. Michael (Mala) Moriaty, both of Southington, a brother, William G. Mank, West Hartford, Conn., three sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Burns and Mrs. Frances Deprey, Southington, and Mrs. Glenys Page, Waldoboro; five grandsons and a granddaughter. Funeral services will be Thursday at 2 p.m. from the United Methodist Church, Waldoboro with the Rev. David W. Bell officiating with interment at Levensaler Cemetery. Arrangements by the Hall Funeral Home, Waldoboro. Eastern Star services were held at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Hall Funeral Home.
